KERR GUILTY
SHOOTING OF MISS WEST
SENTENCE DEFERRED.
(Special to “Northern Advocate.”) HAMILTON, This Day.
At the Hamilton Supreme Court yesterday, the trial of Frank dames Kerr, aged 40, on a charge of attempting
to murder .Miss Gertrude West, at To Awamutu, on January 24, was concluded.
The jury, after visiting the scene of the crime, retired and returned at 8.20 p.m. with a verdict of guilty.
Sir Alexander Herdman deferred passing sentence until Monday.
