POISONOUS SUPPER
BANK STAFF VICTIMS. ROBBERY MOTIVE. (Received 9 a.m.) TOKIO, June 12. An original attempt to rob a bank is reported from Dairen. The night staff received gifts of supper from an “anonymous friend/’ which was followed by severe pain. The • victims arc in a precarious condition. The police have arrested a Japanese who was formerly in an official position. At present he is head of a commercial firm. They have also discovered a safebreaking outfit.
