STATE DANCE.
AT THE NURSES' HOME, The annual dance held after the State nursing examinations eventuated at the Nurses’ Home at the Whangarei District Hospital on Thursday evening. As usual, the dance was an outstanding success, and the charming room used for the occasion presented an attractive appearance, with shaded lights and two big fires burning. The evening was an ideal one for dancing, and in consequence the spacious verandah was much favoured in the intervals. The Snappy Pour Orchestra provided lively music, and an excellent supper was dispensed.
