Pans are “in” again, and many shops are showing every kind of laco fan because of the great “Lace Ball’' which will open London’s most wonderful hotel, the Dorchester, writes a Londoner. When the Duchess of York went to the dance given for her pretty niece, Miss Elizabeth Elphin.stone, she had a darling little black lace fan hanging from her arm by silver lace and black velvet ribbons.
