This herd has been inspected, and are a good lot, sound, in excellent condition, and in calf to a Jersey Bull, mostly July and August ealvers. The Pedigree Ayrshires are bred from good producing strains, four being bred by, Mr. T. M. Thomson, of Waiuku, These are in calf to the Stud Jersey Bull, as the late Air. Bremner had visions of breeding a hardy type of dairy crossbred cow, suitable for the rather bleak hill country on which' they run. The Stud Jersey Bull is well bred, being a double grandson of Viola’s Golden Laddies (Imp.), C. 8.8., and whose three nearest dams under C.O.R. average 5561 b. fat. The line of two-year-old Heifers' are by this sire. . Visitors arriving by the Northbound Express, reaching Wellsford at 11.45 a.m., will be met at Station.
