GERMAN ILLS
INDUSTRY AND POLITICS NEARING INCURABLE STAGE. DUE TO INTERNAL FEUDS. (United Press Association—-By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received 9 a.m.) BERLIN, April 6. Illuminating points of view are provided by eminent politicians and industrialists in reply to the “Allegemeine Zeitung's” Easter query as to whether Germany will overcome her present industrial and political crisis. Herr Spengler, an eminent philosopher, says: “Unless wages are considerably reduced there will be at least 7,000,000 or 8,000,000 unemployed next winter. It will be impossible for relief to cope with the situation, and the consequences will be grave.” Dr. De Chapean Rouge, head of Hamburg ’e Education Department, says: “Germany will not make an impression in the world while her strength is consumed by internal feuds. Freedom from the Versailles serfdom can be obtained only by a united nation.” Herr Rudolph Peterson, president of the Hamburg Exporters' Association, says: “Germany's position soon will force the victors to cease their demands for tribute. The nation must face a drastic reduction in the standard of life.” The Minister of Finance, Herr Dietrich, says: “The bitter truth is that Germany's most conspicuous talent is reflected by the manner in .which her people flght each other.”
