BABY HURLED TO DEATH
r GRANDFATHER’S SUICIDE. LEAPED TWICE FROM WINDOW. (Recevied 9 a.m.) BUCHAREST, April 5. A policeman named Petro Jonescu threw his five-months-old grandchild from a window in a second storey flat, the infant being killed. Jonescu then jumped out of the wddnow. Rising from the ground uninjured, the man rushed into the house and again jumped out of the window. This time he was killed. The child’s mother, who saw the tragedy, lost her reason.
