TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS
THREE PERSONS SUFFER. (Special to “Northern Advocate.”) AUCKLAND, Monday. On Sunday evening Mr Andrew Jones, aged 42, received a compound fracture of his left leg and a fracture of his right arm as the result of being knocked down by a motor car in Kyber Pass Road. He was sent to the Auckland Hospital, A little child, Iris Norgrove, aged four years, sustained a fracture of the right thigh yesterday afternoon when she was knocked down by a motor cycle at the reservoir corner, Newton. As the result of a collision between two motor cars yesterday afternoon at the corner of Onslow Road and The Drive, Mrs Martha Watkins, aged 29, of Epsom, received severe injuries. The injured woman suffered concussion, a fracture of the right leg and severe cuts from flying glass.
