RELIEF CONTRIBUTIONS SOLICITED. (Per Pres* Association-*-Copyr)*pTil.) DUNEDIN, This Day. A charge of vagrancy was made against Alfred Graham, aged 67, in the Police Court yesterday. It was stated that accused solicited contributions by falsely representing that tickets which he offered for sale were in aid of the earthquake relief fund. It was also stated that accused had 5000 tickets printed, which he sold round the town. He was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment.
