Charitable bequests amounting to £3,500 are made to Wellington institutions under the will of the late Mrj James McMennmen. of Island Bay,l who died on April 14, in his 80th yen r.J A sum of £SOO is also -bequeathed to; a Chicago hospital. Following are the bequests:—Anglican Boys’ Home, Lower Hint, £1.000; Presbyterian Boys’ Orphanage, Berhampore, £1000; Presbyterian Girls’ Orphanage, £1000; Mother Superior, Home of Compassion, Island Bay, £500; M(»rey Hospital, Chicago, £SOO.
