DUNEDIN, This Day.
In rain squalls and a puffy southerly wind, Eileen won the first Sanders Cnp trial easily iby 4ni from Kia Ora. Four boats started, and the course was windward and leeward. George Kellettt sailed Eileen. .SuKCtte, the new Taikapuna boat, was the only one to put in an appearance for the first Cornwell Cup trial, aud, sailed by McLaren, went oyer the course alone.
The contest for the Cornwell Cup v. ill be held at Dunedin early in January. Representatives are expected from Auckland, Manukau, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, - Christchurch, r.nd Invercargill.
