WHANGAREI SHOW
ENTRIES CLOSE TOMORROW,
A RECORD ANTICIPATED. Entries for the Whangarei A. and P. Society's Show close with the Secretary, Mr C. P. Butler, tomorrow. The Indications are that a new record will ho broken this year. In the cattle section, the Jerseys and Friesians have always been good, but they will be better than, ever for the forthcoming show. Hitherto, entries for Ayrshire cattle have never been numerous, but this year they promise to be good. The same remark applies with equal force to the Herefords. It is practically certain that the number of entries for sheep will be far in advance of the previous totals. It is hoped that horses will be well represented. With the splendid season the district is experiencing, all stock should come into the show in first class condition.
