STOCK MARKET SLUMP
DUE TO CREDIT SITUATION,

As a result of the latest development of the credit situation, the Stock Market suffered a .broad general deeliiie (today, with losses of from three to fifteen points in many issues. High-priced specialities slumped more than ten points, and at times the market was on the verge'of, an open break, but the weakness was never allowed to go too far, for support appeared ‘ at critical moments and there were intermittent rallies.
