TODAY’,S ELECTIONS,
The following were elected as chairman of the county set opposite their names, at today’s annual meetings:— Ashburton—.Tamos Carr, re-elected unopposed. Hauraki Plains—C. W. Harris defeated C. W. Parfltt. Thames—Henry Lowe, re-elected. Marlboroughr-A. M. W. Adams, reelected. Grey—J. W. Hannan elected.
