OBITUARY

MR E. H. POHE. There passed away late yesterday ■morning, at (the residence of his parents, a highly respected member of the Maori race, for the person of Edward Henry Bohe, youngest son of Mr and Mrs J. Pohe, of Three Mile Bush, Kamo, at the early age of 21 years and 10 months. Deceased had suffered ill-health for a number of years and was compelled to lead a quiet and resitful life. Being one who possessed a charming personality and unusual address, all who know him held him in the highest esteem. He had several exemplary characteristics, amongst (those being a kindly disposition and a generous leaning towards friends in need. He was a keen social worker, and devoted considerable time and energy to various causes amongst his people. Being a capable entertainer, his .services wore frequently enlisted for benefit concerts, etc. The passing of this young man will be deeply regretted, by his wMe circle of friends, and the deepest sympathy is extended to ■:his parents and other relatives.
