CABLES IN BRIEF
Bingara Blaze. —Nine business houses were reduced to ashes in a sweeping conflagration at Bingara, a country town in New South Wales. The. town has no appliances for dealing with outbreaks of fire. Blasting Tragedy.—A .Moss Yale (N.S.W.) message states J. Westcott was killed and two men, Hodeg and Regoni, are in a. critical condition as the result of a blasting accident. When the charge failed to explode .the men investigated. They were within a few r yard when the charge went off and they were thrown into the air.
Bombing. Sequel.—Following upon the recent trial of five men on a charge of having bombed the Greek Club in Melbourne, three men. Henry Stoke,s, Norman Mclvor and Thos. Taylor, have been arrested orf a charge of conspiracy in connection with forthcoming appeals by the men sentenced. It is alleged that Stokes, Mclvor and Taylor bffered a young woman money to swear that the bombing had been done by another'man.
