FIRE AT OKAIHAU
RESIDENCE DESTROYED. (Special to “Northern Advocate.’’) KAIKQHE, This Day. The residence of Mr C. F. Reed, of Okaihau, with its contents was totally destroyed ,by fire this morning about 2 o’clock. The family retired about midnight when everything was apparently as usual. Mrs Reed was awakened by the smoke and the occupants were only , able to escape with no chance .of saying anything.
