(Per Press Association.—Copyright./ WELDING TO X, Thursday. The W.C.T.U. Congress met this morning. The report the Correa ponding Secretary, showed that eleven adult and ton “Y" branches had been formed during the year. There were now 181 adult and 38 “Y” branches. Seven adult and ten “Y’ ; branches lapsed for the want of leadership. The. cradle roll had increased from 5746 to 6499. Temperance charts had been supplied to 219 schools. Tonight an address will be given by Sir Truby King on “Alcohol and the Race. ”
