TOURING SCHOOLBOYS. NEW YORK PROGRAMME. RARE RECEPTION ACCORDED. - I ’ I (Australian Press Association.) (Received 8.35 a.m.) J NEW YORK, March 13. The party of young Australians and New Zealanders arrived here today for a ten days’ stay, and judging, from their programme they will be crowded days. They were met by committees of the Chamber of Commerce, the English Speaking Union and the Rotary Club, and met their hosts at whose homes they will .stay.

They will receive the freedom of the city from Mayor Wdlkcr tomorrow, and in the evening will be guests of honour at a dinner given by Mr Dow. Their sight-seeing schedule is a heavy one, while they have received so many invitations for entertainment that they will be able to accept only a small portion thereof. This being the theatrical centre of America, they will attend various performances, particularly those pf juvenile interest. The Boys’ Club Federation of America is giving' the youngsters a special luncheon, and arrangements have been made for swimming contests between the visitors and l other New York Club boys, this being virtually the sole sport common to both and in which contests could be arranged. They depart for New England on March 24.
