A Cairns message states that heavy rains are causing the rivers to rise again. The water is seven feet , over the Tully Bridge and the H,Bribers River is rising rapidly. I,t is impossible to get trains through between Cairns and 'Townsville*, Seven and a half inches of rain fell at Tully yes* ter day. . i James Watson was swept from his horse and drowned.
