TOKIO, Oct. 10 Many hundreds of fishermen were drowned and severe casualties suffered among coastal shipping in a typhoon,, of which no warning was received. iSeveral steamers wirelessed that they were in distress. Cruisers and destroyers have been despatched to their assistance.
