CONSPICUOUS SURPLUS.
(Australian Press Association.) (Received 9 a.m.) WASHINGTON, July 1. Following ou Mr Mellon’s estimates, the actual Treasury surplus is announced to be 398,000,000 dollars and the debt reduction 9,000,000 dollars.
