DISTINGUISHED ARTIST
ALFRED O'SHEA
AUCKLAND’S TRIBUTE. Tonight, at the Whangarei Town Hall, Mr Alfred O'Shea will delight the music-lovers of North Auckland as he has delighted audiences all over the world. The Well-filled booking list indicates patrons from all round Whangarei and from as far distant as Dargaville, a tribute in itself to the popularity of this illustrious Irish tenor. Waves of ovation expressed Auckland's appreciation, and Mr Henry: Hayward wired the Whangarei management this morning as follows: “O’Shea closed a most successful season with a great audience packing Auckland’s large Town Hall, and received most enthusiastic farewell."
Mr O’Shea comes to Whangarei direct from his Auckland season, for one concert only, tonight.
