BIG NATURAL INCREASE
WHANGAREI’S POPULATION.
•Whangarei’s population increased by natural causes during the last six months to the extent of 149, births during the period amounting to 205 and deaths to 56. There were 52 marriages. The vital statistics for last month, as compared with the figures for June, 1927, the 'latter being given in parentheses, are as follows:—Births 25 (29), deaths 3 '(15), marriages 11 (8). Three marriages were conducted by the Registrar.
