The Chamber of Commerce decided to make representation to the Railways Department regarding the alleged dimness of headlights on the engines of express trains. One member stated that the lights were often mistaken for town Ifghts and cases had occurred where motorists were almost on the crossings before they realised a train was approaching. — Press Assn.
