ARBITRATION CONFERENCE
FARMING REPRESENTATION.
WELLINGTON, This Day.
The conference convened by the New Zealand Farmers’ Union spent yesterday discussing the national industrial conference and formulation of evidence on behalf of farmers. Considerable surprise and disappointment was expressed at the representation allotted to the Farmers’ Union in comparison with other farmers’ organisations.
Prof. Murphy was present to advise on economic questions and the following delegates are to attend the industrial conference: Messrs W. J. Poison, Chadwick, Mulholland, Carr and Captain Colbeck.—Press Assn.
