Damage estimated at from £BOOO to £IO,OOO was done by fire at 4.30 o’clock this morning at Tonson Gatlick’s furniture factory in Karangahape Rond. All that remains on the ground floor is a mass of burned and charred carpets, lino, materials, furniture and throe upturned safes. The insurances total £19,000. —Press Assn.
