MILFORD TO BAYSWATER

(Special to “Northern Advocate.”) AUCKLAND, This Day.
Yesterday afternoon, Mr A. H. Smith, proprietor of the Yellow Buses, announced that he was quite unable to run his service between Milford and Bayswator at a rate less than 4/6 per twelve trips and shorter distances at a correspondingly lesser fare. He had boon . informed that the fare by the Takapuna Ferry Company’s steamers between Bayswater and Auckland "would be 3/- per week. The combined bus and ferry fare between Milford and Auckland would thus be 7/6 per week as compared with 6/6 per week via Devonport as in the. past. At the present time the fare to Milford by the Takapuna tramways or buses is 3/- per 12 trips oi 6/- for the combined ferry and land journey.
