(Special to “Northern Advocate.”) AUCKLAND, This Day. The weather was favourable for training operations at Ellerslie this morning. In the only gallop on the course proper, Princess Ronnie finished in front of Thursby over a round which was run in 2.1 (two trestles out) on No. 1 grass. The first to work was Chairman, who ran four furlongs in 564, going nicely. Serang finished in front of Gold Fern and Merry Damon over five furlongs, done in 1.7 1-5. Tall Timber took 1.9 1-5 to run the same distance. King Emerald ran the last five of his work in 1.7. Segment finished in front of Speechless and Ambrosia over five furlongs, run in 1.5 2-5. Archeno ran five furlongs, taking

1.7, going easy over the first part of the journey. Museari was in front of Fair Abbey at the end of seven furlongs, which occupied 1.33. Judge’s Box was going better than Rina Manga over five furlongs, run in 1.5 3-5. The same distance was covered by War Officer and Abbey Day in 1.5 1-5. Automne did strong work over seven furlongs, running the last five in 1.6 1-5., Master Boon was just in front of Pelham over five furlongs, run in I.4—a good gallop. Nucleus went alone over six furlongs, taking 1.18 3-5. Kamehameha was just in front of Ura.Ha, with Day Bell further back, over a round which took 1.54. Whakarite and Carinthia finished on terms over half a mile run in 51sec. Wyoming was slightly better than Whetuhinc over seven furlongs in 1.36. Polonett was just in front of Nassock and Auriculus, and ran the last five in 1.8 3-5. Town Bank -went round on the tan, taking 1.58 3-5. ■ Lomint was just in front of Right and Left on the tan in a round which occupied 3.54.
