FOR BRITISH LIBERALS FEDERATION REJECTS AMENDMENT. CONFIDENCE IN LORD OXFORD. (Received 1.30 p.m.) LONDON, June 17. A resolution of confidence in Lord Oxford was unanimously Carried at a meeting of the National Liberal Federation held at Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, where supporters of Lord Oxford and Mr Lloyd George mingled on the platform. The Federation, by a large majority, declined to consider an amendment. suggesting that, in view of the differences, it was advisable that a new neutral leader should be elected. —Reuter.
