BASKETBALL
FIRST PRACTICE GAME. The first practice held by the recently formed Old Girls ’ ’ Basketball ■ Club took place at the High School grounds yesterday afternoon, "when a friendly game was’played with-the High School Present representatives. The game disclosed want of- practice, but improved in the concluding stages, and the players should show themselves to better advantage when they meet the Y.W.C.A. team on the primary school courts on Saturday.
