“NEW YORK TIMES’ ’’ EXPERIMENT. ■ WELLINGTON, June 11. The “New York Times” has ceased its short-wave radio test. Mr Shrimpton, of Wellington, who has picked up broadcasted news and supplied it to the Press Association, has received the following from Mr Meinholtz, manager of the “New York Times”: “Please accept my personal thanks for the hearty co-operation shown in the long distance short-wave tests just concluded. Starting with this message, wc will not be on the air for 0400 G MT except on Sunday mornings, from 0400 GMT to 0700 G MT. We hope we can keep the same line up and exchange greetings weekly.—Press Assn.
