TUNNEL BLOCKED
BY HUGE LANDSLIDE. RAILWAY TRAFFIC IMPEDED. WELLINGTON, May 3. A rainstorm in the Featherston district on Saturday resulted in, .a huge landslide near the Summit on the railway-dine, blocking one end of- the long tunflel. ; Gangs are engaged in clearing the spoil, of which thousands of tons fell. Service cars are being utilised to carry mails over the hill road, pending the clearing of the railway.—Dress Assn.
