INSTITUTE PROPOSITION. A GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY. NELSON, This Day. In his inaugural address Dr. I. A. Gibbs, the new president of the New Zealand branch of the British Medical Association, advocated the establishment of a national institute of preventive medicine •to investigate the laws of health and the causation of disease.
