EX-POLICEMAN SENTENCED,

In the Criminal Court Leslie John
FrazLer, a young ex-policeman, was sentenced to imprisonment for 12 months on a charge of obtaining £2 by blackmail from Constantino Papnsdopolous in the Fitzroy Gardens.
The Crown case was that Frazier, then a.member of the police force, approached the informant, who was «itting in the gardens with a young lady, and demanded money, threatening that he would arrest the young woman if it was not forthcoming. Mr Justice Mo Arthur said that the accused's conduct discredited the whole force.
