The Lady. Eva came In on Wednesday and took away a raft of logs for an Auckland sawmiller. The ocean was calm and the ship got her load away on one tide. A birthday dance, in honour of Miss Lorna Clements' 20th birthday, was held in the hall 011 Thursday evening. Exeryone had a jolly time. Mr J. W. Bines returned from Auckland on Saturday. Mrs Edgar Clements is visiting her daughter, Mrs Thomas Matheson, of Paeroa. Miss Woolley, of Kruno, is out her.o and is staying with her nephew, Mr H. W. Woolley. Mrs E. R. Clements left for Whangarei on Monday.
