INDUSTRY ADVANTAGED. (Received noon.) NEW YORK, July 1?. The vogue for -the use of silk "undergarments has helped the industry, but has worked terrible havoe in the cotton and woollen trades. The consumption in America decreased by one million bales in 2924, while silk manufacturers increased their output by 30 per cent. —Sun.
