APPEAL COURT'S DECISION,
DUNDAS MACKENZIE CASE,
ORIGINAL JUDGMENT STANDS.
WELLINGTON, This Day. The Appeal Court's hearing of the appeal of Dr. Dundas Mackenzie against his removal from the Medical Register came to an end this morning. The Chief Justice Sir Robert Stout, stated that since hearing Mr Myers on Friday the Court had had an opportunity of considering the evidence, and thought it unnecessary to hear counsel for the respondent, and that fhe Judgment of the Court below shouM not be disturbed.
The appeal was therefore dismissed, with costs on the higher scale.—Press Assn.
