At the Magistrate's Court -a jockey named Harold James Tinker was charged with converting a car to his own use without colour of right, also with dangerous driving and . driving without a license. Evidence, was given, .that thenar >vas driven swiftly and that it skidded and W6nt over a bank. The owjaer, had not given Tinker permission to use the car. < Accused said he had been sitting in tlib car. The owner and other men left and one man suggested a ride, saying that the owner would not mind. Accused was fined £10 on each of the first two charges and £1 on the third. —Press Assn.
