j THREE MONTHS' SILENCE. ! MARINE INQUIRY BEGUN. (Received 12.20 p.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. The marine inquiry into the supposed loss of the ketch Lialeeta was opened. The Lialeeta* has not been, heard of since the night of-April'ls, when she left Semaphore after taking in stores. William Clarke, harbour master at Launceston, gave evidence that he inspected the Lialeeta at Launceston on February 6 last. ■' He was of opinion that the ketch was well found and the sails were not in bad condition. William Knight, owner, said he valued the vessel at about £4000. She w&s insured for £1000. The inquiry was adjourned.-^—A. and N.Z. '
