ELEVEN GOALS TO NIL.
(Received 10 a.m.)
BRISBANE, This Day
Fifteen thousand people witnessed the Soccer match, England versus Queensland, the visitors winning by 11 goals to nil. The half-time score was 6—o. The heavy ground following upon three days' rain suited the Englishmen, who showed wonderful combination and footwork in the mud. Goals were scored by Simms (5), Batten (4) and Hannaford and Caesar one each.—A. and N.Z..
