FOR 'GENERAL POURPARLERS. (Received 1.40 p.m.) PARIS, June 21. The "Petit Parisien's" Berlin correspondent says that the British Charge d' Affaires called on Herr Stresemann and emphasised the importance the British Government attaches to the proposals in the French Note in regard to security. He declared that the Note formed the best possible starting point in the negotiations between Germany .-.iid the Allies. —Renter.
