KAHANAMOKU WINS AGAIN. MISS WEHSELAU'S RECORD. (Received 9.35 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The 220 yards breast stroke swimming championship was won by Kahanamoku in 3min 4 2-ssec. The 100 yards back stioke swimming championship of New South Wales resulted: —Mealing 1, Carr 2, Brown 3. Time —.lmin 26 2-ssec, which is an Australian record. Swimming at the Manly carnival Miss Mariechen Wehselau created an unofficial Australian record, covering 300 yards in 3min 59 4-ssec. • The 880 yards championship of New South Wales resulted: —Moss Christie 1, Griffiths 2, Walmsby 3. Won by 30 yards in llmin 36sec. —A. and N.Z,. OTAGO CHAMPIONSHIPS. DUNEDIN, This Day. At the Otago swimming championships Bailey retained his title in the 220 yards, winning easily in 2min 54sec. McLean, aged 16. won the half mile in 12min 54sec, one second below the New Zealand standard. .
