MOTOR CATERPILLAR VENTURE.
PROPOSED BY
AVIATORS
(Received 9.40 a.m.) PARIS, August. 24
Scenes of wild enthusiasm marked the arrival of Captain d'Oisy and his mechanic Bezin. They only stayed for a few hours en route to their homes in the country. They will receive a civic welcome in October.
Captain d'Oisy and Bezin will leave France on October 25 to lead a motor caterpillar expedition across the Libyan Desert from Tunis to La"ke Chad and back. They are also planning for a long flight later over Africa.—A. and N.Z.
