"HISTORY OF ROME. , ? COMPLETE RECORD DISCOVERED (Received 9 a.m.) LONDON, August 21. Dr Maria di Martinfusco confirms h repoit from Naples that he has come into possession of Livy's complete "History of Rome," of which up to the present only 35 bools>.out of 142 have been available except in epitomised form. He states that when the work is ready for access to scholars he will say where he found important portions which have been missing for 1400 years.—A. and N.Z.
