NEW ZEALAND INTENTIONS. NOT YET ASCERTAINABLE. (Special to "Northern Advocate.") WELLINGTON, This Day. It was generally expected that when the House met yesterday afternoon something would be said regarding the cabled messages that annother Imperial Conference is contemplated, this one to take place in October. Mr Massey was not in the House and the acting Leader, the Hon Downie Stewart, was asked by Mr R. McKeen if the Government had received an invitation and intended to be represented. Mr Stewart replied that he was not in position to answer the question just then. He had been unable to see the Prime Minister since Mr McKeen had notified him tliat he intended to ask the question and had not been able to see any despatches which may have come; however, if Mr McKeen would repeat the question some other day he would be answered.
