DEFEAT AUCKLAND PROVINCE. AUCKLAND, This Day. The English League footballers defeated Auckland Province by 2S points to 13. In the first spell the visitors attacked strongly and piled up a number of tries which made the score at half-time: 20 to 5. In th-3 second half the local men picked up their form and strenuous plav saw each side add eight points. Tho attendance was 7000. The ground waa rather soft. —Press Assn.
