EN ROUTE.

ALL BLACKS FAHEWELLED.

SPECTACULAR OCCASION.

WELLINGTON, This Day,

On the tick of four o'clock the Remuera left the wharf yesterday afternoon with the All Blacks on board. Thousands had congregated inside and outside the barriers and cheered each man as he went on board, his name being officially announced as he appeared. The team all wore hats with black bands bearing a silver fern leaf in front. There was the usunl display of streamers flowing over the sides of the ship, and what was unusual was the inclusion of a number of broad black ribbons in honour of the New Zealand colours. The weather had been showery all day, but cleared up just before the Remuera left. —Press Assn.
