Dr. l.asfcer won the Czeeho-Slavakian' Chess Tournament with 10* points out of 12 against the strongest young Europeans —a remarkable vindication of Dr. Lnsker's after ten years' abstention from tournaments. Reti scored 9J, Grum-field 8-}, Silesdieff 71 and Einve and Tartakover 7 points each. —A. r.nd N.Z.
