AFTER LONG SEARCH.
WANTED MAN ARRESTED. CARRIES LOADED REVOLVER. t WELLINGTON, This Day. Yesterday the police arrested a man named William Mcßain, for whom they had been searching for some time, in connection with the theft of goods from the Wellington Woollen Company. It will be remembered that the secretary's motor-car was stolen from a passage-way in which it had been left and it was found later at Island Bay in the care of the New Zealand Express Company.
The police found two neat packages of goods ready to be sent to a certain address and the contents of the packages proved to be all the missing goods, and more which' had not been reported. The total value of them is said t'o be over £200.
In possession of Mcßain when he was arrested was fpund a loaded revolver.—Press Assn.
